Ross Braden
Ross Braden
Ross trained and graduated at the London School of Osteopathy in 2023, he combines his work as an osteopath with a successful career as a professional runner. He competed for England in the marathon and impressively finished in the top 20 at the London Marathon twice.
Through his experience competing at the highest level of sport, Ross understands the importance of getting you back to doing the activities you love as quickly as possible and avoiding repeat injuries. He trains between 12-14 times a week and therefore knows the importance of ensuring that any pains and niggles are dealt with before they become more serious. This is shown in his approach to determine the root cause for any pain and take a holistic approach. This involves looking at the whole body rather than just the problem area, to ensure that the problem does not reoccur in the future. Alongside this, Ross will always work on rehabilitation plans, and looking at a clients overall lifestyle to establish the best path to staying injury free. He also coaches a number of athletes for a range of distances up to the Marathon, and has a level 1 qualification in Sports Nutrition and therefore is able to advise on best practices for keeping fit and healthy.
Prior to joining Guiseley Osteopathic Centre, Ross travelled the world supporting athletes as they prepared for major competitions like the Olympics and World Championships.
